The Lance Corporal Michael J. Allred Scholarship Foundation
In honor of USMC LCpl Michael J. Allred, who lost his life in the service of his country on 6 September 2004 in Iraq, and to express their gratitude to a loving community that supported them at the time of their loss, Michael's family has created a scholarship fund to assist students attending Utah State University. Since 2006, thirty-one $1,000 scholarships have been awarded.
